Former Naked Attraction contestant Chrissie Wunna has disclosed the racy requirements of the audition process for the Channel 4 dating show, stating that prospective stars must undress completely during a Zoom call to demonstrate their comfort with full-frontal nudity.
Audition Process Exposed
Chrissie Wunna, who appeared as the picker on series 11 of the programme hosted by Anna Richardson in 2016, revealed that the audition begins with several phone calls to assess personality and physical preferences. She told Reach: "In the audition you have a couple of phone calls to see what your personality is like, where they ask you about what you're looking for physically in a partner."
The actress, who later featured on ITV's Olivia Attwood: Getting Filthy Rich, explained that during these "thorough" calls, producers "go through absolutely everything" to find ideal matches for the pods. Following the phone interviews, contestants participate in a Zoom call with casting to evaluate their on-camera presence and confidence levels.
Mandatory Nudity Requirement
At the conclusion of the Zoom audition, participants are required to undress. Chrissie stated: "They do the chat and the interview and at the end of the audition you do have to get naked." She added: "They want to make sure you're confident enough to be naked on screen because you will have to be."
Chrissie emphasized the non-negotiable nature of this step: "So you 100% have to be naked as part of the audition. It's the nature of the show and it's definitely not for the faint-hearted. But it's fun! I didn't care, I just whipped my clothes off."
Backstage Antics Revealed
Chrissie also shared behind-the-scenes details about male contestants' nervous preparations. She disclosed: "I heard the boys were really nervous and doing naughty exercises behind the scenes in their pods so that their manhoods looked as big as possible for the reveals."
She continued: "When I walked into the studio before filming I could see all their silhouettes jogging on the spot and playing with their goolies to make sure what was presented was 'generous'. I couldn't believe it!"
Naked Attraction, which first aired on Channel 4 in 2016, continues to attract attention for its unconventional format. The show airs on Channel 4.
