M&S Hosts First Runway Show on Silverstone F1 Pit Lane

M&S staged the first-ever runway show on Silverstone Circuit's iconic Formula 1 pit lane earlier today, ahead of this weekend's Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix 2026. The landmark event saw 50 models transform one of motorsport's most recognisable locations into a striking catwalk, set against the backdrop of working garages, race cars and live engineering.

Fashion Meets Motorsport

The show forms part of M&S' multi-year partnership with Silverstone Circuit, as Formula 1 continues to grow as one of the world's most-followed sports. With an expected global audience of more than 1.8 billion viewers across the season, and hundreds of thousands set to step into Silverstone just this weekend alone, all eyes are on the track this summer.

Exclusive Event Draws Celebrities

Guests from across the worlds of fashion, sport and entertainment attended the exclusive event, including M&S ambassadors Jodie Kidd and Oliver Proudlock. Sharry Cramond, Marketing Director for Fashion, Home & Beauty at M&S, said: “We’re so excited to be partnering with Silverstone across its incredible season, including the Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix 2026. Bringing fashion to the track like this, with the first ever pit lane fashion show, is a really bold step for us, and a great example of how we’re showing up in new, unexpected ways at the UK’s biggest moments and delivering something that no one has done before.”

Dress to Thrill Edit

“Silverstone is where sport, music and culture come together, and our Dress to Thrill edit captures that perfectly; modern, versatile, great value summer style, brought to life on one of the most iconic stages in sport. Love that,” Cramond added. Jodie Kidd, fashion model and TV personality, commented: “The two of my biggest loves, M&S which is beautiful fashion and Silverstone and F1. I was absolutely speechless, the drama of seeing 50 models all coming down with the backdrop of that noise was mind-blowing and I had extreme FOMO. I wanted to get up there so badly, I was kicking myself, but it was the best catwalk show I think I’ve ever seen.”
