Anxiety Over Royal Return
According to an insider, Meghan feels anxious about the trip and fears that she and Harry could be walking into a trap. The source told the Examiner that the Duchess of Sussex does not trust the palace, despite reports that King Charles is offering royal accommodations for the couple and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The insider added that Harry has been getting the run-around from his father, and Meghan remains wary of courtiers. Harry believes his father wants to see them, but the final decision about travel rests with him.
Mixed Reception Expected
Brand and culture expert Nick Ede told the Express that the reception Meghan receives is likely to be mixed. 'She still has a loyal base of supporters who admire her for who she is,' he said. 'However, there remains a vocal section of the British public who feel disillusioned by the couple’s repeated criticisms of the Royal Family and their decision to air private grievances publicly. That division means she is unlikely to receive a universally warm welcome.'
Ede added: 'Most Britons are generally respectful, particularly when children are involved, and I suspect many will be curious rather than hostile.'

While this will be Meghan's first time back in the UK in years, Harry has made numerous trips back. It is said that the Duke of Sussex is working on putting his wife's nerves at ease.
