Mauricio Umansky has been seen enjoying a cosy evening with reality TV star CJ Franco, sparking rumours of a new romance for the Beverly Hills estate agent. The sighting comes more than two years after his separation from wife Kyle Richards and follows Franco's own confirmed split from her former fiancé.
A Night Out in West Hollywood
The pair were spotted on Wednesday evening looking very comfortable in each other's company after dining at the famed West Hollywood hotspot, Craig's. Umansky, 55, was photographed with his arms wrapped around the 34-year-old FBoy Island star, in a display of clear affection.
Witnesses described sparks flying between the two. The realtor was seen planting a tender kiss on Franco's cheek and nuzzling his face into her shoulder as she leaned back with a smile, her eyes closed. Franco appeared delighted, snuggling up to Umansky while bundled in a long tan coat and a brown beanie. Umansky opted for a casual yet smart look, wearing a black sweater and jeans.
Confirming Their Single Status
This romantic outing follows recent confirmations from both individuals that they are officially back on the market. Just this month, Franco clarified in a social media comment that her engagement to director Len Wiseman, which began in 2023, had ended "a while ago." She was quick to assure fans that the split was amicable, stating, "Luckily nothing like that," when a follower speculated about cheating.
Meanwhile, Umansky has been openly discussing his single life. In a recent statement to People, the Buying Beverly Hills star declared, "I'm alone. I'm single. I'm dating. I guess that's my era." He has also revealed that he is receiving dating advice from his three daughters with Richards—Alexia, 29, Sophia, 25, and Portia, 17—who have advised him to seek an "age-appropriate" romance.
From Reality TV to New Beginnings
While Umansky found fame on his own Netflix series, CJ Franco rose to prominence on the first season of HBO Max's FBoy Island. On the show, she was one of three women tasked with distinguishing "nice guys" from "Fboys." She ultimately left the series with "nice guy" Jarred Evans, though their relationship did not last.
Despite announcing their separation in July 2023 after 27 years of marriage, Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards have yet to file for divorce. Since the split, Umansky has been linked to other women, including models Nikita Kahn and Klaudia K.
