Liverpool celebrities graced the red carpet at the Liverpool Empire Theatre on July 7 for the gala performance of Moulin Rouge! The Musical. The world tour production will run at the venue until August 8.

About the Musical
Set in 1899 Paris, Moulin Rouge! The Musical follows Christian, a lovesick American writer, and Satine, the star of the Moulin Rouge nightclub. Their romance faces obstacles from club host Harold Zidler and the wealthy Duke of Monroth, who seeks to possess Satine.
