Despite Serena denying his claims and suggesting he had mistaken her for someone else, Kev remained adamant. Having spent years in and out of the criminal justice system, he trusted his memory. Several villagers have grown suspicious of Serena due to her intense interest in the chaos caused by John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) when he lived in Emmerdale. This revelation poses a major problem because Robert and several other residents know the truth about John Sugden's death. John was murdered by Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) at the start of the year, but police concluded it was suicide.
