Katie Price Announces Musical Comeback After Chart Surge

Katie Price has confirmed plans for a musical comeback after her 2017 single 'I Got U' unexpectedly topped the iTunes dance chart and reached number two on the general UK hits chart over the weekend. The 47-year-old expressed shock and gratitude in a TikTok video to her 1.7 million followers, calling it a childhood dream come true.

Producer Rick Live, who previously worked with Price on the 2019 track 'Hurricane', revealed that a new single titled 'Broken' is in the works. He told The Sun that Price is currently learning the music, with studio sessions booked for her to record vocals. The song is described as being about resilience and putting oneself back together after setbacks.

Price's daughter Princess, 18, showed support by sharing a screenshot of 'I Got U' at number one on Instagram Stories, writing 'Well done mum'. The chart success has been described by Price's representative as a 'massive surprise', and Price herself has reportedly called it 'karma' and 'revenge' against ex-husband Peter Andre.
