Jodie's past schemes catch up with her
Jodie (Olivia Frances-Brown) has been on a sociopathic revenge quest since arriving in Weatherfield, targeting her sister Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) by trying to seduce her husband David (Jack P Shepherd). When that failed, she moved on to Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) before eventually returning to Shona, who reluctantly forgave her. However, Jodie's box of stolen trinkets—including a gun stolen from Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard)—has been a ticking time bomb.
Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) discovered the box and was attacked by Jodie on the night Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) was killed.
