The fifth season of the popular Irish detective series Harry Wild is now available to stream on Acorn TV, premiering today (22 June) with six new episodes. The show, often compared to Midsomer Murders, follows former literature professor Harry Wild as she becomes an amateur detective, solving crimes with her teenage partner.
Jane Seymour Returns as Harry Wild
Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress Jane Seymour stars as the title character and also serves as an executive producer. In the new season, Harry faces increasingly dangerous cases, from undercover missions to disturbing murders. Seymour reunites with Joe Lando, her former co-star from Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, who joins the cast as Pierce Kennedy, a charismatic State Pathologist.
Cast and Plot Details
Lando's character quickly becomes a vital ally, providing astute observations that help untangle complex mysteries. Returning cast members include Rohan Nedd as Fergus, Kevin Ryan as Charlie, Rose O'Neill, Samantha Mumba, Paul Tylak, and Aoife Mulholland. The trio of Harry, Fergus, and Charlie are drawn into their most demanding cases yet, facing merciless criminals.
