The Guardian's Saturday magazine is calling on couples and former partners to share honest accounts of their sex lives for its popular column, This is How We Do It. The feature aims to provide a realistic counterpoint to the airbrushed and exaggerated portrayals of sex often seen on TV and in other media.
What the Column Seeks
The column is particularly interested in hearing from couples who have faced challenges in their sexual relationship, such as differing libidos, navigating intimacy after an affair, or body image concerns. The Guardian emphasizes that all participants can remain completely anonymous, with no names or locations published. Both partners must consent to participate.
How to Participate
Interested individuals over 18 can submit their stories via an encrypted online form, which is secure and only accessible to Guardian staff. The data will be used solely for the feature and deleted when no longer needed. Participants can also choose to remain anonymous. The Guardian encourages couples of all ages and sexual orientations to apply.
