Kyle Confronts Kim and Joe
In next week's episodes, Kyle confronts Kim and Joe about his mother's death. When Graham arrives, Kyle flees. Moira and Cain wonder why he is so shaken, leading Cain to threaten the Tates to stay away from his son.
Joe urges Graham to decide whose side he is on, while Cain clashes with Kyle, leading to dangerous consequences. Kyle starts a fire in a shed, unaware that the Dingles' dog Monty is trapped inside.
Monty's Cancer Diagnosis
Cain rescues Monty from the blaze and rushes him to the vets. Paddy tells Cain to warn the family to prepare for the worst, as Kyle feels guilty for his actions. There is a shock when Paddy reveals that Monty has cancer, leaving Cain unsure what to do.
Kev and Lewis Bond
Elsewhere, Charles urges Kev to make amends with Lewis. Kev changes his name to 'Barton' to bond with Lewis, but Lewis still wants nothing to do with him. When Kev later explains why he really changed his name, he opens up about his tragic past and vows never to go back to prison.
When Ross asks Kev to leave, Lewis decides to give his dad a chance. Soon there is a break-in at the café and the cash box is stolen, with Nicola accusing Kev. As Lewis confronts Kev, Kev is furious and tries to plead his case, but Lewis has none of it.
Caleb's Counterfeit Scheme
Also next week, Caleb is keeping his counterfeit scheme quiet. Caleb and Kerry are shocked to find a label sewn into one of the shoes that reads 'help me'. When Bear finds out, he is angry to learn Caleb has not reported it to the police. Caleb tells Kerry he has reported it, while a chat with Kammy gives him another idea for making money.
Mack tells Charity he is unable to see a way back from her. As Kev sees how furious Mack is with Ross, he urges Mack not to do anything stupid.
Gabby and Billy Romance
Finally, sparks fly between Gabby and Billy, while Serena fishes for information on Nate's murder, leaving Moira suspicious.
