Violence erupted in Emmerdale as Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) punched Ross Barton (Michael Parr) after Ross accused Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) of a break-in at Home Farm. The altercation left Ross nursing bruised egos and a sore face.
Ross's Failed Investigation
Ross, Home Farm's Head of Operations, was nowhere to be found when Kim Tate (Claire King) discovered the break-in. Grabbing her shotgun, Kim cleared the premises before berating Ross for his absence. She handed him a list of suspects and demanded the crime be solved immediately.
Rather than investigating properly, Ross made hasty accusations. He first confronted Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb), who quickly kicked him out. His next target was Robert Sugden, despite Robert recently being hospitalised after being hit by a runaway trailer.
Aaron's Furious Reaction
Aaron took exception to Ross blaming his lover Robert and showed Ross what he thought with his fists. Serena Sugden (Casey Al-Shaqsy) intervened to protect the bruised egos from too much damage. After Ross left, Serena worked on Robert and Aaron to let her stay by explaining the full story about John. Aaron remained wary but stopped beating up Ross.
Kim's Discovery
Meanwhile, Kim realised the stolen item was a USB stick. The contents remain a mystery, but the theft has clearly rattled the Home Farm matriarch.
