EastEnders goes full Misery next week when deranged Bea Pollard (Roni Ancona) kidnaps Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) in a final and life-threatening showdown. Honey's life is on the line when she finds herself locked up in a cottage in the middle of the woods as Bea's obsession with her spirals seriously out of control.
Bea's Campaign Against Honey and Billy
Recent weeks have seen Bea step up her campaign to split up Honey and her husband Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick), by doctoring an AI voice note that 'confirmed' he had been trying to sleep with her. After the couple hit the rocks, Billy has been on a mission to prove his innocence, and while Honey initially did not believe him, a shock discovery later this week opens her eyes to Bea's web of lies and manipulation. But just as Honey becomes enlightened, Bea seeks revenge on Billy by framing him for a crime, and it's not long before he's forced to go into hiding.
Honey's Plan to Lure Bea Out
As the police descend on the Square next week, Bea has gone missing, and Honey is determined to draw her out and clear Billy's name. With the help of several other residents, Honey then hopes that staging a vigil broadcast online will catch Bea's attention and lure her out. It has the desired effect when Honey spots a shadowy figure watching the vigil from afar, and she gives chase. When Honey catches up with them, Bea is revealed as the hooded watcher, and Honey pleads with her to clear her husband's name. However, a struggle ensues, and Honey is knocked unconscious. Panicked and running out of options, Bea bundles Honey into a car before driving far, far away from the Square. When Honey comes round, she realises Bea is now holding her hostage in a locked cottage.
Rescue Mission in Walford
Back in Walford, Honey's loved ones quickly realise she's missing, and they fear the worst when Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) tracks her phone and finds it smashed in a bush. Along with Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) and Suki Unwin-Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), Linda leads a desperate rush to rescue Honey from Bea's clutches. The question is, though, will they make it in time?
