Celebrity baker and Food Network favourite Duff Goldman has shared joyous news with his fans, announcing that he and his wife, Johnna, are expecting their second child together.
A Sweet Thanksgiving Announcement
The 50-year-old TV personality, best known for shows like Ace of Cakes and Holiday Baking Championship, made the heartwarming revelation via a sweet Instagram post on Thanksgiving. Goldman uploaded a charming photograph where he gently rested his hand on his wife's growing baby bump. Their four-year-old daughter, Josephine, was also part of the joyful snap, with the soon-to-be family of four all flashing cheerful smiles.
In the caption, the elated pastry chef wrote, 'Oh boy! @johnnapgoldman has another bun in the oven! I think Josephine is going to be the best big sister ever.' Johnna shared a similar image to her own account, expressing, 'I feel so extra grateful for my healthy, happy, growing family!' She then provided the exciting due date, confirming that Baby Goldman number two is expected to arrive in Spring 2026.
A One-in-a-Million Relationship
Duff and Johnna's love story began when they first met online in 2016. Their connection was immediate, and just two weeks after their first date, the couple travelled to Hawaii together. 'It was obvious pretty quickly that we were really into each other,' Duff previously told People, noting they initially weren't 'looking for anything serious.'
Three years later, in 2019, the pair said 'I do' in a unique wedding ceremony held at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles. Goldman has often gushed about their relationship, calling it 'a one-in-a-million relationship.' He added, 'I never thought I would have this kind of capacity for love.'
The chef has also spoken warmly about how becoming a parent to Josephine has expanded his heart. 'When you have a kid, you realize, "Wow, I didn't know that was in there,"' he shared, describing the experience as 'wonderful.'
A Thriving Career on Food Network
Beyond his family life, Duff Goldman's career continues to flourish. He first found fame on The Food Network in 2006 with his show Ace of Cakes, which featured his Baltimore-based shop, Charm City Cakes. Since then, he has become a staple on the channel, appearing in and judging numerous series, including:
- Food Network Challenge
- Iron Chef America
- Kids Baking Championship
He is currently a judge on the popular seasonal programme, Holiday Baking Championship. In a significant career milestone back in 2023, Goldman signed a multi-year deal with Food Network. 'To continue to be a part of the Food Network family after all these years is awesome. For me as a chef, Food Network is home,' he said in a statement at the time.
Alongside his television work, the star has published multiple cookbooks, including 2015's Duff Bakes: Think And Bake Like A Pro At Home and the 2022 release Super Good Cookies For Kids.
