The group, which included Chloe's brother Jack and his wife Issy Wilson, chose The Angel pub in Highgate, north London, for their gathering. Chloe looked stylish wrapped in a cosy camel coat, while former rugby star James kept it casual. A touching moment saw James arriving hand-in-hand with his young daughter, showcasing their close bond.
James later shared a snapshot from the lunch on his Instagram, offering followers a glimpse into their continued family dynamic. The pair separated in October 2023 after five years of marriage, but have consistently worked to maintain an amicable relationship for Bodhi's sake.

Just weeks prior to this outing, James appeared on This Morning with Mike Tindall, speaking candidly with hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley about his new book, 'Reloaded – The Good, The Bad & The Rugby'. During the interview, he opened up about the realities of co-parenting, admitting that 'the worst bits' of navigating the split are carefully kept away from social media.
"Chloe is an amazing mum, an amazing woman. She is so talented and smart, and brilliant at what she does," James stated. He emphasised that when a separation happens, especially in the public eye, the child's needs must come before ego.
"We're able to co-parent in a way, sometimes is good, sometimes is bad, that's what happens," he explained. "But we do it constructively for our daughter. I think it's important to talk about it."
James also revealed that he often receives messages from other men navigating separation, seeking advice. He cautioned that social media can present a false image, as people rarely post about the difficult times. Despite the challenges, he affirmed that Chloe "always had my back" and that their focus remains on their "amazing" daughter, acknowledging that the process is "not always straight forward."
Chloe Madeley, the daughter of TV presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, began dating James Haskell in 2014. The couple married four years later in 2018, building a life together before their eventual separation.
