Will Best will juggle his hosting duties on Big Brother with competing in Strictly Come Dancing, after the BBC confirmed his schedule for both shows. He presents Big Brother live on Fridays after rehearsals, and takes part in Strictly live shows on a Saturday when Big Brother takes a break from airing.
Scheduling confirmed for both shows
Will began co-hosting Big Brother alongside AJ Odudu in 2023 when it was rebooted on ITV, and also hosts the Celebrity spin-off. This year he was announced as one of the stars competing on the 24th series of Strictly Come Dancing. He will be paired with Australian dancer Dianne Buswell, as they compete to win the glitterball trophy.
Strictly Come Dancing returned to screens on Saturday, September 19, with a pre-recorded launch show. The live shows will return on Saturday, September 26. Big Brother kicked off its 23rd season on Sunday, September 13. Both reality competitions feature live shows, which has left fans confused.
Fans question how Will can do both
One Facebook user posed the question: "Just curious… how will Will Best going to host Big Brother if he’s also in Strictly Come Dancing?" Many people have speculated how Will can take part in both programmes, with discussions surrounding Strictly rehearsals, live shows and elimination episodes.
Thankfully both shows are filmed in London, though more questions may arise if he makes it to Blackpool week.
Personal news amid busy schedule
Earlier this month, Will announced that he is expecting his first child with his fiancée, Tobi Rose. He broke the news on Hits Radio to his co-presenters Fleur East and James Barr on The Hits Radio Breakfast Show.
Will said: "Tobi and I are having a baby! They’re going to be bopping about soon and they can’t wait to come on the radio and chat to everyone."
"People won’t be able to tell the difference, to be fair, between the baby and me, I’d imagine. I was hoping you guys could be permanent full-time nannies – for me and that means that Tobi can then look after the baby!'"
A source told The Sun that the baby is due to arrive whilst Will appears in this year's Strictly. He has admitted that he's already struggling, saying: "Obviously I’ll be missing the little nipper and you know, I’ll be tired. I mean, I’ve already done some little interviews for Strictly, where I’ve talked about Tobi and stuff, and I’ve already cried. So I’m going to be a blubbering mess."
