Rivals Season 2 has arrived on Disney+ in the UK, with the first three episodes now available. The remaining episodes will be released weekly, with episode four dropping on Friday, May 22. A further six episodes are expected later this year, though no exact date has been confirmed.
The series continues the 1980s comedy-drama based on Jilly Cooper's Rutshire Chronicles. David Tennant returns as Lord Tony Baddingham, seeking revenge against ex-Olympian Rupert Campbell-Black (Alex Hassell) and former employee Declan O'Hara (Aidan Turner). The cast also includes Katherine Parkinson, Danny Dyer, and Victoria Smurfit.
Disney+ offers several subscription options: £5.99 per month with adverts, £9.99 for standard ad-free, and £14.99 for premium with top-tier audio/visual quality. A limited-time deal provides three months at £3.99 per month for new subscribers signing up by May 6.
Victoria Smurfit teased the new season on Lorraine, saying: "We shot 12 episodes, so it meant we could get deeper into the characters. It's even better, if that's possible."
