Wednesday season 2 part 1 has launched on Netflix, filmed in Ireland, introducing a new character who has already stolen the show. Agnes DeMille, played by 16-year-old British actress Evie Templeton, is a Nevermore student with an obsession for Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega), going to extreme lengths for attention. After proving useful and loyal, Wednesday accepts her, much to Enid Sinclair's (Emma Myers) distaste.
Evie Templeton has a surprising career history, with only minor roles before this breakout. She made her acting debut in 2022 with small parts in BBC period drama Life After Life and Disney's Pinocchio. Earlier, she appeared in the UK tour of Nativity and starred in Les Misérables in the West End.
In 2023, she landed her first major role in the horror film Lord of Misrule alongside Tuppence Middleton. She also voices Laura in Konami's Silent Hill 2 remake and will reprise the role in the upcoming film Return to Silent Hill.
Despite her short filmography, Templeton has won over fans globally. She shared behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram, writing: 'Season 2 Part 1 is out now! Incredibly grateful to be a part of this wonderful show.' Co-stars Hunter Doohan and Isaac Ordonez praised her, with fans calling her performance 'phenomenal' and 'magic'.
