Netflix's new action film War Machine has arrived, featuring a star-studded cast led by Alan Ritchson, best known for his role as Jack Reacher in Prime Video's hit series. Ritchson plays 81, a combat engineer tasked with leading his unit against an otherworldly killing machine.
The cast also includes Dennis Quaid as Army Sgt Maj Sheridan, a high-ranking officer with a keen interest in his soldiers' mental state. Quaid's recent credits include The Substance and Happy Face.
Esai Morales, known for NCIS: LA and Titans, plays Torres, one of the commanding officers overseeing the Army Rangers. Jai Courtney, famous for playing Captain Boomerang in Suicide Squad, appears in an unspecified role, while Daniel Webber, star of The Dirt and 11.22.63, is believed to play another Ranger in training.
War Machine follows Army Ranger training as it concludes, with one final mission pitting the soldiers against an unimaginable threat. The film is now streaming on Netflix.
