My Life with the Walter Boys season three is almost here, and a lot has changed in Silver Falls. Less than a year after series two debuted on Netflix, the show returns for a third season, picking up straight from the dramatic finale which saw George Walter's (Marc Blucas) life hanging in the balance. Moments before, Alex Walter (Ashby Gentry) also awkwardly overheard Jackie Howard (Nikki Rodriguez) confessing her love for his older brother Cole Walter (Noah LaLonde).
Release Date and Episode Count
The wait is very nearly over as My Life with the Walter Boys season 3 debuts this week on Thursday, August 6, on Netflix. Much like the previous two series, the third outing will once again consist of 10 episodes, with the entire boxset coming out on its initial release date.
What to Expect from Season 3
It has been confirmed that season three will pick up where series two finished, on the night that George is taken into hospital. Alex Walter star Ashby Gentry shared with Tudum: "Everyone's reality has shattered a little bit, and they're picking up the pieces of that and trying to put it back together again." As everyone's worlds are turned upside down in one way or another, Alex spends more time with his rodeo riding team, while a race car driver sees potential in Cole.
Jackie, on the other hand, doesn't know what to do next in the Walter household, so she "pours her heart into developing the town's community space". But things get more complicated for her when a "new arrival in Silver Falls puts Jackie in a tug-of-war between her old life and her new one".
New and Returning Cast
As expected, the entire main cast is returning for season three, but with some new additions to the mix. It: Welcome to Derry star Chad Rook is joining as drag racer Mac, who is impressed by Cole's natural skills on the race track. George's sister and Isaac and Lee's "free-spirited" mum Hannah is back on the scene. She left her sons with her brother's family for an unknown reason and has a lot of bridges to rebuild as she unexpectedly shows up again. Hannah is portrayed by actress Erin Karpluk, who leads the cast as Erica Stranger in Being Erica.
Eliot, someone Jackie used to know back home, comes onto the scene as he is the "handsome and charming" new intern of her Uncle Richard. Portrayed by Mighty Ducks: Game Changers star Naveen Paddock, Eliot has an "air of New York sophistication" about him, reminding Jackie of her life long before Silver Falls.
