The Voice UK Contestant Reveals She Opened for Tom Jones

A contestant on The Voice UK left Sir Tom Jones stunned after revealing a special connection to the legendary singer. During the latest episode of the ITV reality show, which aired on Saturday (September 7), Toronto-born singer Storry, now based in London, performed her own original song, prompting all four coaches to spin their chairs.

After receiving praise from the panel, which includes will.i.am, Tom Jones, LeAnn Rimes, and McFly duo Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher, Storry shared that she had previously opened for Tom Jones at a concert in August. 'It’s a dream to meet you Tom because in August I actually opened up for you. I didn’t get to meet you,' she said, adding that she was thrilled he turned his chair around.

Sir Tom responded with humour, asking if he was late to the show, while Storry joked about his smooth arrival. The singer expressed regret at having missed her performance and offered to make up for it, but despite his pleas, Storry chose to join will.i.am's team, citing her admiration for all the coaches.
