Virgin River Season 7: Mystery Surrounds New Character Clay

The seventh season of Virgin River has arrived on Netflix, introducing a mysterious new character named Clay, played by Cody Kearsley. Clay first appears when he intervenes in a fight at Jack's bar to protect a woman from unwanted attention. He later expresses interest in Jack's sister, Brie, but she politely declines.

Clay asks Jack for a job, claiming experience with horses, and Jack offers him work at his home. However, fans grow suspicious when Clay is seen hiding a large sum of cash and a gun in the barn. Both Mel and Jack find him there late at night, covered in blood. Clay initially claims it was from another bar fight but eventually confesses the truth.

Clay reveals he was separated from his sister as a child through the foster care system and has been trying to find her. He owes money to a gang, which he needs to pay a lawyer to help locate his sister. Jack, seeing a resemblance to his younger self, decides to give Clay a chance and helps him win money at a rodeo event.
