Netflix has confirmed that the seventh season of Virgin River will premiere on March 12, 2025, with all ten episodes launching simultaneously. The series, which last aired in December 2024, follows the romantic drama set in the fictional town of Virgin River. Season six ended with Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson) finally marrying, despite various obstacles.
The main cast is expected to return, including Sarah Dugdale as Lizzie, who is expecting a baby girl with Denny Cutler (Kai Bradbury), and Tim Matheson as Doc Mullins, who faces scrutiny at his clinic. Annette O'Toole reprises her role as Hope, while Colin Lawrence and Kandyse McClure return as Preacher and Kaia Bryant.
Three new actors join the cast: Cody Kearsley (Riverdale) as Clay, a hardened rodeo character searching for his foster sister; Austin Nichols (One Tree Hill) as a figure from Mel's past; and Sara Canning (The Vampire Diaries) as Victoria, a former police officer investigating Doc's practice.
The official trailer, released on February 9, shows Mel revealing to Jack that they are becoming adoptive parents. It also hints at Brady (Ben Hollingsworth) and Brie (Zibby Allen) reconnecting, and Lizzie giving birth but possibly experiencing postnatal depression. UK viewers can stream from 8am on March 12.
