Beauty YouTuber Nikkie de Jager, known to her 13 million subscribers as NikkieTutorials, is hosting this year's Eurovision Song Contest. The 27-year-old is making history as the first transgender host of the competition.
Speaking to Radio 1 Newsbeat, the Dutch presenter revealed she is reflecting the colours of the trans pride flag – white, pink and blue – through her outfits on stage.
Nikkie described the opportunity as “truly incredible” and has been praised for her role in promoting inclusivity at the iconic event.
