A former contestant on BBC's The Traitors has issued a stark warning about the upcoming final, following a dramatic new twist that has left viewers stunned.
During last week's episode, host Claudia Winkleman introduced the 'legendary dagger', a powerful item that allows one player to cast a double vote at the round table. The decision of who receives the dagger lies solely with the traitors.
Minah Shannon, 30, who became a fan favourite in series three, shared her expert analysis on BBC's Morning Live on Thursday, 22 January. She described the twist as potentially dangerous for the traitors if they choose themselves, but predicted it would 'cause chaos' regardless.
Speaking alongside presenters Gethin Jones and Nikki Fox, Shannon explained: 'You're basically giving one player the opportunity to have two votes at the round table. When there's only eight of you, that makes all the difference.'
With only seven players remaining from the original 22, the finale airs on Friday, 23 January on BBC One and iPlayer at 8pm. Shannon's comments suggest viewers can expect a dramatic conclusion to the unpredictable series.
