BBC to Air Missing Traitors Scene After Fan Outcry

The BBC has confirmed that a missing scene from The Traitors spin-off Uncloaked will air tonight after viewers complained they were deprived of the moment when the latest murdered contestant learned the traitors' true identities.

Fans of the hit BBC One show were left fuming on Wednesday night (January 22) when Roxy, who was murdered by the traitors, did not appear on Uncloaked to open the envelope revealing who had been deceiving her. The companion programme, hosted by Ed Gamble, usually features recently eliminated contestants discovering the traitors, but that segment was omitted, causing anger on social media.

After her murder, host Claudia Winkleman revealed that Roxy and fellow contestant Judy are mother and daughter. Roxy had told cameras she hoped Stephen or Rachel would win, believing both were faithfuls – though viewers know the pair are actually traitors.

A BBC spokesperson said: "I can confirm that Roxy's reaction will be shown on tonight's episode of Uncloaked." The show airs after the main programme, which tonight (January 23) will decide whether Rachel or James is banished, following a stalemate at the Round Table that was broken by a shield-box selection.

The episode of The Traitors will broadcast at 8.30pm on BBC One and iPlayer, with the series finale airing tonight.
