Theo James returns as Eddie Horniman in The Gentlemen season two, which dropped in full on Netflix this morning, Thursday, September 3. Set one year on, Eddie and Susie Glass (played by Kaya Scodelario) have successfully expanded their drug empire in Italy, so things are looking up.

Theo James' wife
The Gentlemen star Theo James is married to Irish actress Ruth Kearney. They first met at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2009 and got married nine years later. Theo and Ruth welcomed two children together, a daughter and a son who were born in 2021 and 2023, respectively.
Ruth's most prominent roles have been in The Following, Primeval, Netflix's Flaked and as Eliza Campion in the final season of Sanditon, where she starred alongside her husband as Sidney Parker.
Meghan Markle rumours
In the lead-up to The Gentlemen season two's release, there have been rumours circling that Meghan Markle is in talks to join the Netflix hit for a third season. This was fuelled by the fact that the Duchess of Sussex and her family have moved back to the UK after living in California for the past six years.
But James has since spoken out on the Meghan Markle rumours, jokingly telling Town and Country: “Yes, Fergie is joining. She’ll be playing my love interest.” He continued: “No I think that was mainly a lot of hot air. At the moment we’re just trying to get as many eyes on season two and then season three will happen soon.”
Theo James' real name and net worth
While the Gentlemen star is professionally known as Theo James, his full name is actually Theodore Peter James Kinnaired Taptiklis. The 41-year-old was born and raised in Oxford, but his ethnicity is English, Scottish and Greek, with the latter coming from his paternal grandfather.
Theo James has been on screens for 12 years, making his first major appearance in Downton Abbey as Turkish diplomat Kemal Pamuk. He has since gone on to star in Sanditon, The Divergent franchise, The White Lotus, The Time Traveller's Wife and now The Gentlemen.
