The Voice UK returns to ITV and ITVX tonight (Saturday, October 3) at 8.50pm, following a schedule shake-up that pulled the show from last weekend's line-up. Fans of the singing contest will see Sir Tom Jones, Kelly Rowland, will.i.am, Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher back on screens as the blind auditions continue.
Coaches Continue Building Teams
The episode synopsis reads: "Emma Willis hosts the spinning-chair singing contest, with coaches Tom Jones, Will.i.am, Kelly Rowland, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones assessing more acts." With only eight places available on each team, the mentors must choose carefully as they search for the UK's most exciting singing talent, with the Rewind button giving them the chance to bring back an artist they regret letting go.
The Voice UK returned in August for series 14, with Kelly Rowland replacing LeAnn Rimes on the coaching panel. At the time, Kelly said she "can't wait to hear all the new talent and to go to battle for my team. Let's go!" and she has proved a firm favourite with audiences since her debut appearance.
New Rewind Button Feature
The current series introduces a significant new feature designed to assist coaches who may be too slow to press their button during the blind auditions. The Rewind button allows each coach one opportunity to reconsider a contestant who has departed the stage without securing a chair turn, and the coach can subsequently activate it to welcome the performer back to their team.
Battle Round Advisors Confirmed
As the blind auditions draw to a close, the celebrity advisors joining the coaches for the battle round have been confirmed. Team will.i.am will be joined by Cheryl, who has been confirmed to be joining The Voice UK as a coach next year. Delta Goodrem, The Voice Australia coach and Strictly Come Dancing 2026 contestant, is helping Team Kelly, and former The Voice UK coach Paloma Faith is joining Team Tom.
McFly boys Tom and Danny will be joined by their bandmates Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd as they pick their team members to take through to the next round of the competition. The Voice UK continues Saturday, October 3 on ITV1 and ITVX at 8.50pm.
