The Voice UK 2026 start time, judges and Rewind Button explained

The Voice UK returns to ITV on Saturday, August 22, with a new series featuring a fresh format twist. The singing competition sees amateur performers take to the stage hoping to impress the expert judges enough to turn their chairs during the auditions.

The show first aired in the UK in 2012 and is now back for its 14th series. Emma Willis returns as host, with Will.i.am, Tom Jones, and McFly's Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher also returning to their judging seats.

New judge and format change

This year, American singer and former Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland makes her debut as a judge on the ITV show. The series also introduces a "Rewind Button" for the first time, allowing judges to give singers a second chance if they did not turn around initially.

Speaking about the format change, Danny Jones said: "The Rewind Button is a total game-changer! It's brilliant because it gives that extra bit of power to right a wrong."

Fellow judge Tom Fletcher added: "We've all had those moments where we've watched a performance back and thought 'What were we doing!' So it's a great safety net and is guaranteed to make things more interesting."

When to watch

The Voice airs on Saturday, August 22 at 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with the episode running until 8.15pm.
