ITVX has announced that supernatural drama series The Nevers, starring James Norton, will be available to stream for free on the platform from 1 February 2026. The HBO-produced show, which originally aired in 2021, comprises 12 episodes set in Victorian London.
The series is set in 1896 after a supernatural event grants certain individuals—mostly women—abnormal abilities. The story follows widow Amalia True (Laura Donnelly) and inventor Penance Adair (Ann Skelly) as they protect a group of gifted outcasts from forces seeking to destroy them.
James Norton, known for Happy Valley and Grantchester, plays Hugo Swann, an aristocratic young man who runs a private club. Other cast members include Olivia Williams, Tom Riley, Rochelle Neil, Eleanor Tomlinson, Amy Manson, Pip Torrens, Denis O'Hare, Zackary Momoh, Elizabeth Berrington, Kiran Sawar, Anna Devlin, Viola Prettejohn, Ella Smith, Nick Frost and Ben Chaplin.
The series was originally released on HBO Max in two parts but was removed from the platform in 2022. Fans have since expressed difficulty finding a place to watch it, with many calling for a binge-worthy streaming option.
