This fresh reimagining of John Galsworthy's beloved The Forsyte Saga has hooked viewers since its debut on Channel 5 last month. The series marks a return for the story, which originally aired on the BBC between 1967 and 1969.
Set in the late Victorian era, the plot delves into the intense world of the Forsyte family, where family tensions simmer and marriages implode as long-buried secrets come to light. Executive Producer Susanne Simpson from Masterpiece praised the "sweeping, romantic drama" and its exploration of duty clashing with matters of the heart.
