The Crow Girl, a detective series hailed as a "masterpiece" by viewers, begins airing on Channel 5 this week. Adapted from Erik Axl Sund's bestselling novel, the show originally premiered on Paramount+ in January 2025 but is now making its broadcast debut on Channel 5.

The drama features a stellar cast including Welsh actors Eve Myles, who leads as DCI Jeanette Kilburn, and Charles Dale, alongside Coronation Street's Katherine Kelly and Dougray Scott. The series was filmed in Bristol.
Plot Synopsis
According to the official synopsis: "When the bodies of unidentified young men start to show up around Bristol, beaten and full of the anaesthetic Lidocaine, police face mounting pressure and little evidence as they hunt the killer. As more bodies surface - including a child missing for over 10 years - the killer edges closer to home, starting a race against time to untangle a web of secrets."

Broadcast Details
Season one will air on Channel 5 from Monday, July 20 at 9pm. In an unusual scheduling move, Channel 5 (owned by Paramount) will air season one concurrently with the start of season two on Paramount+.
