I think this is the first time ever in 15 years someone has come on for something specific and actually got the amount they needed, specifically for that amount, and then got through." He added, "That's a funny old journey that!"
Chaser Paul Sinha humorously chimed in, stating, "I mean, it's television history, but it's a terrible indictment of the state of society," which was met with laughter from the audience.

In the Final Chase, the team of Eileen, Amanda, and Merrick played against Paul Sinha for a shared prize pot of £6,000. Despite a valiant effort, their score of 15 was not enough to secure victory. The Sinnerman caught the team with 46 seconds remaining, bringing their memorable journey to an end.
