Suzy Lamplugh's sister, Lizzie, appeared on ITV's This Morning for what she says will be her last television interview, sharing previously unseen photographs and an emotional message to viewers.
Emotional Interview
Speaking openly to presenters Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond, Lizzie described the ordeal her family has endured and how strange it is to reach milestones without Suzy. At the end of the interview, she said: "I think there is just one message I want to say. I mean we've gone through a lot of grief as a family but we always say just live life to the full and always think something positive every day."
Dermot O'Leary added: "And what a lovely way to end your last interview too!"
The Disappearance
Suzy Lamplugh, a 25-year-old estate agent, vanished on 28 July 1986 after leaving her office in Fulham, West London, to meet a client recorded in her diary as Mr Kipper. She was last seen later that day near the address of the intended property viewing.
Despite a major police investigation and repeated public appeals, she has never been found. In 1993, she was officially declared dead and is believed to have been murdered.
Last Sightings
Three people reported seeing Lamplugh outside 37 Shorrolds Road between 12:45 pm and 1:00 pm. Around 12:50 pm, a passer-by noticed her standing at the entrance, seemingly waiting. About ten minutes later, a neighbour saw her leaving the house with an unidentified man, both glancing back as they walked away. The witness's description led to an identikit image of the suspect.
Unsolved Case
Although someone was arrested for Suzy's murder, her body has never been found. Her disappearance remains unsolved. This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1.
