TV survivalist Bear Grylls swapped his usual bizarre eating habits for a comfortable meal at a Scottish pub this week. The 50-year-old adventurer was photographed after dining at The Anchor Inn in Garelochhead on Tuesday.
The pub shared the snap on social media, posting: “A very special thank you to Bear Grylls for stopping into the Anchor Inn for dinner tonight. It was a pleasure to have you! Hope to see you again soon.”
It remains unclear why the former SAS member was in the area. Grylls currently serves as the Honorary Colonel of the Army Foundation College Harrogate. The MoD's Garelochhead Training Area, a military training camp, and HMNB Clyde are a short distance away.
