Sunday Brunch Viewers Divided as Tim Lovejoy Misses Show

Sunday Brunch viewers took to social media to express their discontent after host Tim Lovejoy was absent from the live broadcast on March 2. The show was moved from its usual Channel 4 slot to E4 to accommodate coverage of the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games.

Opening the show, Simon Rimmer was joined by Yinka Bokinni, who filled in for Lovejoy. Bokinni explained that Lovejoy was having a lie-in and would be absent for this week and next. She read out a handover from Lovejoy, which included phrases like 'Keep calm and carry on' and 'You miss 100% of the shots you didn't take'.

Fans quickly shared their opinions online, with many missing Lovejoy's presence. One viewer commented, 'Not the same without Tim, you can't have Ant without Dec.' Another wrote, 'She's a bit too loud! Missing Tim.' However, others welcomed Bokinni, with one fan saying, 'Yes, Yinka,' and another calling the change 'perfection'.

Channel 4's Paralympic coverage will feature over 60 hours of live sport from the Italian Dolomites, displacing the usual Sunday morning schedule.
