Sue Radford, star of Channel 5's '22 Kids and Counting', has spoken of a 'worrying time' for her family as the show returns for a new series. In a first-look clip shared on Instagram, Sue admitted that one of her children is going through a situation she describes as 'pretty alien' to her.
'It has been one of the most worrying times for one of our kids, because normally I'm used to being able to give advice because I've normally been through lots of different things that the kids are going through,' Sue said in the video. The couple, who have 22 children, have not revealed which child is the cause for concern, but the clip focuses on their daughter Sophie.
Noel Radford was seen rushing over to Sophie after a phone call, telling her: 'I am on my way over, I'll speak to you later.' The voiceover explained that it had been two days since Noel and Sue had heard from Sophie, and concern had been growing.
Fans expressed their support in the comments, with one writing: 'You never stop worrying about your kids. Can't wait to watch you all again.' Another said: 'Poor Sophie, I really hope she is ok.' The new series of '22 Kids and Counting' begins on 1 February at 8pm on Channel 5.
