Sue and Noel Radford have shared an emotional update after a worrying time for their daughter Sophie, ahead of the return of their Channel 5 series, 22 Kids and Counting.
In a first-look clip released on the family's Instagram account, Sue admitted: "It has been one of the most worrying times." She explained that the situation was "pretty alien" to her, as she is normally able to offer advice because she has been through similar experiences with her other children.
The clip showed Noel rushing over to Sophie, telling her on the phone: "I am on my way over, I'll speak to you later." A voiceover revealed that two days had passed since Noel and Sue had heard from Sophie, and concern had been growing.
Fans were quick to respond in the comments section, with several expressing their worry for Sophie. One wrote: "You never stop worrying about your kids. Can't wait to watch you all again." Another said: "Can’t wait to watch it, I hope Sophie is alright." Others were simply excited for the show's return, with one commenting: "So excited you guys are back on the screen."
The Radfords announced the new series on Instagram, writing: "Who’s EXCITED for the brand new series of 22 kids and counting it’s going to be a good one 1st February ch5 8pm." The programme is set to air on Channel 5.
