The I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! All Stars final has been hit with more than 1,000 complaints to Ofcom after a heated row broke out on stage. The broadcasting watchdog received 1,187 complaints, with the majority relating to alleged bullying behaviour towards winner Adam Thomas from fellow contestants Jimmy Bullard and David Haye.
During the finale, former footballer Bullard accused Adam of being 'intimidating, aggressive and abusive' following the Rancid Run trial. Meanwhile, boxer David Haye continued to goad the Emmerdale star amid earlier allegations of bullying in the jungle.
Adam, who was crowned winner, later described the experience as 'tarnished' and said he felt he had 'sold his soul'. Speaking on his podcast, he said: 'The moment where I realised this isn't about me, this is about you guys and whatever agenda you want to fill off the back of me.' He added that he would not repeat the experience for 'ten million pound'.
The star also said he had never won anything before and contrasted the joy of his son's dance competition trophies with the disappointment of his own victory. 'That's the joy I wanted to feel when I won,' he said.
