Strictly Hosts Daly and Winkleman Sign New BBC Deals

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman have reportedly signed a six-figure deal to continue hosting Strictly Come Dancing for another two years. The duo, who have fronted the popular dance competition together since 2014, have agreed an enhanced package with BBC bosses.

According to reports, the presenters currently earn a combined salary of more than £300,000. A source said BBC chiefs are 'absolutely proud' to have two women hosting a prime-time weekend show and view them as 'great value for money' given their popularity with viewers.

Daly has been with Strictly since its launch in 2004, originally alongside Sir Bruce Forsyth. Winkleman joined as co-host in 2014, having previously presented spin-off show Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two.

Winkleman also fronts BBC One's The Traitors, which was an instant hit. Following its finale, viewers called for her to be made a dame, with many praising her as 'the perfect host'.

The new deal secures the presenting line-up for the next two series, ensuring continuity for fans of the flagship programme.
