Strictly Come Dancing viewers have speculated that a rift is developing between Bobby Brazier and his professional partner Dianne Buswell following their latest performance. The pair, who danced an Argentine Tango that concluded with a near-kiss, appeared less than impressed with the judges' feedback and scores on Saturday night.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, several fans suggested that Buswell, 34, seemed uncomfortable during the post-dance interview. One viewer wrote that the dancer subtly moved her hand away when Brazier, 20, stroked her finger, and later repositioned his arm from her shoulder. Another claimed both celebrities were clearly annoyed with the judges' marks.
The speculation comes amid reports that Buswell has been hurt by critical comments from followers of her boyfriend, Joe Sugg, regarding her on-screen chemistry with Brazier. However, appearing on Good Morning Britain, Buswell dismissed the romance rumours, insisting the performance was purely acting. 'It's like acting, isn't it?' she said, adding that the Argentine Tango was performed correctly.
Brazier, an EastEnders actor, described the dance as his favourite so far and said he was ready to 'turn it all the way up'. Sugg, meanwhile, expressed pride in the couple, sharing a video of their routine on Instagram.
Body language expert Judi James also weighed in, telling The Mirror that the near-kiss should not be interpreted as genuine. 'All pro dancers are trained to excel at the look of passion,' she explained, adding that it is their off-floor behaviour that is more revealing.
