Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left fuming after a camera blunder "spoiled" Graeme Hall and Lauren Oakley's performance. The Channel 5 star and his professional partner danced to The Godfather Waltz from the iconic movie The Godfather, starring Marlon Brando and Al Pacino.
As the pair got halfway through their routine, viewers were shocked as the camera violently shook for a few seconds before eventually recovering. Graeme and Lauren seemed unaware of the blunder as they continued dancing, but viewers were not happy, raging over the error.
Viewers react to the camera shake
One viewer said: "Even the camera people are f***ing up now. did anyone else just see that? Tripped over or something?" Another added: "Shame the cameraman spoiled it cause watching Graeme is always a joy."
A third chimed in: "Camera person having a mare at this Graham and Lauren dance." A fourth noticed: "Has the cameraman just run over a penguin during Graham’s dance? It went all juddery."
Judges' scores and presenting complaints
Despite the blunder, the judges piled on compliments, with Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas giving a standing ovation. Another viewer agreed: "This was the best dance of the night so far," as many others agreed.
The judges gave their best scores of the night, with Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi and Shirley giving 8s, while Anton offered 7, landing the couple with a final score of 31.
Fans unhappy with presenting lineup
Meanwhile, fans were left disappointed as the show kicked off with Emma Willis, Johannes Radebe and Josh Widdicombe returning to stay in the same presenting positions as the previous week. Fans had been begging for Josh to go backstage and swap with Johannes, who had taken over Claudia Winkleman's role in the auditorium, thinking it would suit his comedic timing better.
One fan said: "I don't understand why they're not varying the presenting. Why is Johannes in the Clauditorium again? I'd have thought they would have swapped over and had Josh Widdicombe there this week after presenting on the floor last week." A second added: "Really surprised they haven’t switched and tried Josh in the upstairs role after the feedback from last week."
