Strictly Come Dancing 2026's first live show airs on Saturday 26 September on BBC One, with no elimination and therefore no results show on Sunday evening.
The pre-recorded pairing episode last weekend introduced new hosts Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe, who took charge of their inaugural show. The 2026 couples were also revealed during that episode.
First performances confirmed
Love Island champion Dani Dyer is reunited with professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin, her partner from last year before an injury forced her to withdraw. They will perform a Samba in Saturday's show.
Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu will quickstep to Stop This Flame by Celeste, while Delta Goodrem and Kai Widdrington dance a Samba to Baiana by Barbatuques. Actress Jaime Winstone and reigning champion Carlos Gu will tackle a tango to I Feel Love by Donna Summer.
EastEnders star Lacey Turner and Vito Coppola take on a Cha Cha to Whitney Houston's How Will I Know. Melanie Walters and Aljaz Skorjanec dance a Cha Cha to Don't Go Breaking My Heart by Elton John and Kiki Dee. Paralympian Dame Sarah Storey and Julian Caillon quickstep to C'est Magnifique by Kay Starr.

Olympian Tabby Stoecker and Mark Karmalita jive to Animal by Katseye, and Love Island winner Cach Mercer and Maddie Ingoldsby quickstep to I Just Might by Bruno Mars.
Other performances include a tango to No Roots by Alice Merton from Chris Appleton and Amy Dowden, a Cha Cha to the Smokey Joe's Cafe rendition of Hound Dog from Graeme Hall and Lauren Oakley, a foxtrot to Alex Warren's Ordinary by John Nellis and Katya Jones, a paso doble to Aperture by Harry Styles from Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystal, and a Cha Cha to Lil Boo Thang by Paul Russell from Shaun Wright-Phillips and Alexis Warr.
No elimination this week
In keeping with tradition, no couples are sent home on the first show, ensuring every celebrity reaches week two and performs at least two routines for the judges. In past series, judges have combined scores from the first and second weeks for an overall score.
Audiences are then urged to vote to save their favourite stars, with the bottom two facing a dance-off where only one will be spared. Given there is no elimination this week, no results show will air on Sunday. Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One.
