Strictly Come Dancing 2024: Full Celebrity Line-Up Revealed

The full celebrity line-up for the 20th anniversary series of Strictly Come Dancing has been confirmed, with 15 famous faces set to take to the ballroom when the show returns to BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Saturday 14 September 2024.

Among the contestants is comedian Chris McCausland, who admits the show is so far out of his comfort zone it 'may as well be on the moon'. JLS singer JB Gill is also taking part, having previously appeared in the Christmas special 12 years ago. Opera singer and broadcaster Wynne Evans is hoping to incorporate some Welsh music into his performances.

Singer and actress Toyah Willcox says she is ready to channel her 'inner Ann Widdecombe', while media medic Dr Punam Krishan looks forward to immersing herself in the magic of the show. Model Tasha Ghouri, who is deaf, wants to do Strictly for herself and the deaf community, and for people who struggle with confidence.

TV personality Pete Wicks has told the costume team they can be 'as wild as they possibly want', while actor and singer Shayne Ward feels 'blessed' to be part of the anniversary series. Actress Sarah Hadland confessed she cried when she first put on her Strictly dress, something she says has never happened in 20 years.

The show, presented by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, recently won the Best Entertainment category at the 2024 Bafta TV Awards. The full line-up also includes singer and actor Shayne Ward, actor and comedian, and others. The glitterball trophy awaits the winner after weeks of dancing.
