Stacey Solomon has dismissed claims she has quietly left Loose Women after 13 years, following reports she had not appeared on the ITV panel show this year. The 35-year-old last featured in December 2024 for the programme's 25-hour Talkathon, with her previous regular slot dating back to June 2024. Her representative stated she remains a 'proud' panellist, contradicting suggestions she has cut ties due to other work commitments.
Reports emerged as ITV slashed budgets for daytime shows including Loose Women, Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, and This Morning. The cuts led to over 220 job losses and reduced Loose Women's airtime to 30 weeks per year, while Lorraine was cut to 30-minute episodes for 30 weeks. Sources claimed Loose Women producers had tried to book Solomon multiple times but were refused, instead focusing on younger presenters like Olivia Attwood and GK Barry.
Solomon has been concentrating on her BAFTA-nominated BBC show Sort Your Life Out and the reality series Stacey and Joe, filmed at her Essex home. She also decided against a second series of Channel 4's Renovation Rescue to prioritise BBC projects. A source told The Sun she 'had a great time' on the renovation show but wanted to focus on her work with the BBC.
