Emmerdale, EastEnders and Coronation Street all have huge plots unfolding next week, according to new spoilers. In the fallout to Emmerdale's devastating double death, with Jimmy King and Dawn Taylor killed off, their grieving loved ones try to move forward, but a big decision and a new discovery could cause more heartache. On Coronation Street, more than one resident is hiding something, and a huge new storyline sees Kit Green diagnosed with breast cancer. Over on EastEnders, there are two weddings, but one of them could be ruined, a secret could come to light, and there is hopeful news for Denise Fox amid her cancer battle.
Emmerdale: Nicola's financial ruin and Joe's decision
Grieving Nicola's financial anxiety over Jimmy's funeral costs leads her to seek his haulage shares. She is shocked to learn from Caleb that Jimmy secretly sold the shares for untaxed cash but continued running the business to maintain appearances. As Nicola realises the money from the sale of the shares is missing, her search for the money uncovers deeper financial ruin, including that the family home has been remortgaged and is in arrears.
Robert feigns a truce with a grieving Joe, who is struggling to cope, while hiding his true agenda to seize the farm. Robert later reveals to Aaron he also wants to take over the Hide from Gabby and Laurel. As Joe visits his newborn son in NICU with Kim, he holds his baby's hand through the incubator, and Kim hopes this is the beginning of a breakthrough. Soon, Joe shares a decision about his son's future.
Coronation Street: Kit's cancer diagnosis and hidden secrets
Kit is awash with guilt as someone sneaks out of the bedroom and lets themselves out. Kit attends an appointment with a consultant who confirms that he has stage three breast cancer and it's spread to his lymph nodes. Later, as Kit heads to the Rovers, he fakes a smile and knocks back the drink.
Shona is emotional as she feels the strain of caring for baby Harper, and later confides in Carla that she's worried David doesn't trust her to be left on her own with their daughter. Jodie sneaks into Kit's flat after he tells her he doesn't want to see her again, and what she overhears floors her. The next day, Jodie's behaviour leaves Bethany suspicious.
Shona is shocked to be reunited with her dad, Doug, who reveals his bipolar is under control and he'd like to mend their relationship. Doug's concerned when he spots Jodie looking longingly at David. When Kit collides with Ross, he clutches his chest in pain, and as Kit confides in Todd, Todd encourages him to speak to his family.
EastEnders: Two weddings and a stem cell match
Two wedding days arrive as Cindy and Max, and Kim and Howie prepare to say 'I do'. Linda uncovers Max's affair with Priya, and as Max arrives at the venue to marry Cindy, Priya and Linda show up, but will they expose the affair?
Kim and Howie head to Denise's hospital room to get married, so that she can be a part of their special day. Denise's doctor arrives and reveals they have found a provisional stem cell match. Zoe tells Kat that she's found Charlie's cab up for sale, and she plans to buy it, but after getting into an argument with the seller, Zoe decides to steal the cab. When Kat finds out, she and Zoe argue, and later Alfie encourages Kat to make amends with Zoe following their fight.
