The third season of Apple TV's acclaimed science fiction mystery drama Silo premiered on Friday, 3 July 2026, following a hiatus of over a year. The series, based on Hugh Howey's novels, is set in a dystopian future where 10,000 people live in a massive underground shelter to escape a toxic surface environment.
Lead Cast and Returning Favorites
Rebecca Ferguson returns as Juliette Nichols, an engineer who uncovers a deep conspiracy after a series of unexplained deaths. Ferguson is known for her roles in the Mission: Impossible franchise, Dune films, and recent Netflix projects like A House of Dynamite and Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.
Common reprises his role as Robert Sims, head of security for the Silo's law enforcement arm, Judicial. The rapper and actor has appeared in John Wick: Chapter 2, The Hate U Give, and Never Have I Ever.
Tim Robbins plays Bernard Holland, the authoritarian head of IT. Robbins is celebrated for his Oscar-winning performance in Mystic River, as well as roles in The Shawshank Redemption and The Player.
Supporting Cast
Harriet Walter portrays Martha Walker, an agoraphobic electrical engineer and maternal figure to Juliette. Walter's credits include Downton Abbey, Succession, Killing Eve, and The Crown.
Avi Nash plays systems analyst Lukas Kyle, recognizable from The Walking Dead (Siddiq) and Black Mirror's Joan is Awful.
Rick Gomez is maintenance worker and contraband dealer Patrick Kennedy, with voice work in Final Fantasy and Batman: Arkham Shadow, plus roles in Transformers (2007), Band of Brothers, and Justified.
Chinaza Uche plays Paul Billings, a former Judicial administrator turned chief deputy. He appeared in Apple TV's Dickinson and won a Scottish BAFTA for A Good Person.
Shane McRae portrays Knox, head of the Mechanical level and Juliette's boss, known for Sneaky Pete and Alaska Daily.
Remmie Milner plays Shirley, one of Juliette's closest friends, with roles in His Dark Materials and Save Me.
Alexandria Riley is Camille Sims, a former raider and Robert's wife, featured in Baby Reindeer and Death Valley.
Clare Perkins plays Carla McLain, Walker's ex-spouse who oversees supply operations. She was Ava Hartman on EastEnders and appeared in The Outlaws and The Wheel of Time.
Billy Postlethwaite plays Hank, a lower-level deputy. The son of Pete Postlethwaite, he has appeared in Chernobyl and The Great.
Steve Zahn returns as Jimmy Conroy, also known as Solo, the sole survivor of the Silo's uprising. Zahn's films include Dallas Buyers Club, Captain Fantastic, and War for the Planet of the Apes.
New Cast Members for Season 3
Ashley Zukerman (Designated Survivor, Succession) plays Congressman Daniel Keene, and Jessica Henwick (Glass Onion, The Matrix Resurrections) plays journalist Helen Drew. Both appeared briefly in the Season 2 finale and now join the principal cast to unravel pre-Silo conspiracies.
