Shoppers on Oxford Street were left stunned after spotting Selena Gomez casually walking outside a busy shop. The actress and singer quickly drew a massive crowd as excited fans scrambled to take photos and grab autographs.
One fan, known as @tanulyaodessa on Instagram, said they initially had no idea why people were screaming. They crossed the road to investigate and came face-to-face with Gomez, describing her as 'literally an angel'.
Gomez appeared happy to stop for fans, politely greeting them and posing for selfies. She is currently in the UK filming season six of Only Murders in the Building, having wrapped the fifth season last year.
She has been documenting her London trip on Instagram, sharing snaps of landmarks like the Palace of Westminster with the caption 'I adore London', and a traditional roast dinner, jokingly asking her husband Benny Blanco to cook it for her when she returns home.
Only Murders in the Building, which also stars Steve Martin and Martin Short, has become hugely popular since its 2021 launch, earning numerous awards for its humour and twists. Fans have praised the cast's chemistry, with one noting the unexpected but incredible dynamic between Gomez and Martin.
