The crime drama Saint Pierre, starring Joséphine Jobert and Allan Hawco, has been officially renewed for a third season. Filming for the new series is set to begin next month, meaning new episodes could land on screens sometime in 2027, based on previous production timelines.
Jobert, known for her role in Death in Paradise, leads the cast alongside series co-creator Hawco. She previously told Radio Times that the show has 'nothing to do with Death in Paradise', noting the colder setting of Saint Pierre compared to the Caribbean.
In a statement, Hawco and co-creator Robina Lord-Stafford expressed gratitude for the show's global support, adding that returning to the locations of Newfoundland and Saint Pierre et Miquelon is 'especially exciting' for the upcoming season.
While plot details for season three remain under wraps, season two ended with a cliffhanger involving a mysterious woman arriving by helicopter and being met by Benoit Lévesque (Paul Gross). Season two also saw Arch learning personal revelations and the Abstract Killer plotline escalating.
The series airs on Canadian network CBC, and in the UK on U&Alibi. Seasons one and two are currently available on those platforms. A trailer for season three has not yet been released.
