The show, which aired from 1996 to 2003, followed teenager Sabrina Spellman as she discovered her magical powers on her 16th birthday.
On Friday (10 April), Hart shared an image of a black cat silhouette on Instagram with the caption: 'Stay tuned for a fun announcement on Monday!' The post instantly sparked excitement among fans, many of whom pleaded for a return of the beloved series. Comments included: 'Sabrina is back??? Finally?!!' and 'Tell me you’re coming back as Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, with Salem!!'
The series, which also starred Caroline Rhea and Beth Broderick as Sabrina's witch aunts Hilda and Zelda, and Nick Bakay as the voice of Salem the cat, remains popular with new audiences. A recent review on Rotten Tomatoes noted that a long-time fan now watches the show with their own children.
